The second wave of Covid-19 has taken over the nation and we have lost a major chunk of the population to the virus. Now the nation is fighting the pandemic and major scarcities are causing huge roadblocks. From oxygen shortage to other medical assistance, patients and their families are left in miserable situation. Many Bollywood actors like Sonu Sood, Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and others have come out in support of the Covid-19 victims. Alia Bhatt’s Dear Zindagi co-star Ali Zafar had also come out in support as he showed his solidarity with India.

Talking to IANS, Ali spoke about the tough times that the nation is going through and the focus should be more on humanity now. Zafar said, “People of India, you are facing tough times and pain one cannot imagine. In Pakistan, too, people are troubled. Maybe these tough times will make us understand what humanity is, and the fact that there is nothing bigger than humanity. In these difficult times, the people of Pakistan and I stand with you and pray for your wellbeing.”

He further added, “We all are praying to God that our difficulties get resolved soon and there is happiness everywhere in India, Pakistan and everywhere else in the world. Let’s all stand together and pray for each other during these difficult times.”
