Ali Zafar plays a pivotal role in Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Dear Zindagi’. Recently, the actor was live on his Facebook page and was singing songs on his fans request. So, while singing the songs which his fans were requesting, the actor-singer recollected that his movie ‘Dear Zindagi’ has released. And then he sang two songs from the film.
When someone told him to sing the track ‘Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le’, Ali recollected that ‘Dear Zindagi’ has released, and he spoke about his character. Ali said, “Oh yes, ‘Dear Zindagi’ has released today and my character’s name is Rumi. Also Rumi is my favourite poet.”
He then later sang two songs from the film ‘Taarefon Se’ and ‘Tu Hi Hai’.

‘Dear Zindagi’ has received positive reviews, and is also doing quite well at the box office. However, the sad part is that this might be Ali’s last Bollywood film as Pakistani artistes are banned in India.
