Gangubai Kathiawadi trailer: Alia Bhatt redefines power, Ajay Devgn grabs your attention

The much-awaited film, Gangubai Kathiawadi trailer is here and expect the unexpected one in this new trailer. In the teaser, we all were smitten by Alia Bhatt on how she has pulled off a complex character of playing the queen of Mumbai and brothel. We also got a little glimpse of Gangubai’s complex world where she is not only the ruler of Kathiawadi but someone who is not accepted by society. Well, this time we get to know a little more about her and trust us, Alia’s character only gets interesting with each minute.

Gangubai is a lady who has unwillingly joined the brothel but over time, she has evolved herself, making herself strong and powerful. She also ensured that no one walks over her in a world that is predominant with men. Gangubai gives glimpses of her struggle when she tries to attain children and human rights; that’s not it, also, trying to make a name for herself.

She not only redefines power as Gangubai but she shows that she is a woman of substance that only draws our attention even more. From her stunning looks to her powerful stance, Alia grabs your attention for the entire 3 minutes. Talking about Ajay Devgn who plays Lala in the film looks pretty interesting. Though he is seen for a few seconds, Ajay ensures to leave an impact with his strong presence.

Gangubai Kathiawadi is adapted from Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. It is about Ganga Harjivandas, a simple girl of Kathiawad who had no choice but to embrace ways of destiny and swing it in her favour. The film shows how she marks her own territory and turns Gangubai, a madame in the red light area of Kamathipura.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial venture Gangubai Kathiawadi release date is February 25. Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn starrer will hit the big screens.
