‘Manikarnika’ controversy: Alia Bhatt says she will personally apologise to Kangana Ranaut

Bollywood as an industry often finds itself in trouble over controversies. Some people say, controversies and films go hand in hand. Now, Kangana Ranaut has been facing a barrage of criticism over her film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’. Kangana has been ridiculed by many people and the ‘Queen’ actress has fought back in style.

Kangana Ranaut had also targetted Alia Bhatt recently and said some things, which could be termed as harsh. Now, Alia Bhatt while interacting with media was asked about Kangana being upset with her.

Alia Bhatt said, ”I hope she (Kangana) doesn’t dislike me. I have not done anything intentionally. If I have upset her then I will apologize to her on a personal level. But I have always said that I have admired her as an actor, as a person. She is very outspoken and it takes courage to be like that. I was not aware about this earlier.”

For the record, this is what Kangana had said about Alia, ”These girls send me their trailers like Alia sent me the trailer of ‘Raazi’ and said, ‘Please watch it’. For me, it was not a Karan Johar film or Alia film, for me, it was a film on Sehmat Khan, the girl who has given her everything to the country.”

Hopefully, with Alia Bhatt’s clarification, both these actresses can patch up their differences.
