Talking to Mumbai Mirror Alia said, “I call it ‘Mi Wardrobe is Su Wardrobe’. I have done it once before, at a night market, and everything was sold out in an hour. This time, it is open globally, Now that I have started Co-exist, I constantly think about how I can help the environment.”
Alia further said that the profits from the auction will go to The Corbett Foundation, an India-based not-for-profit organisation that works with local communities to protect wildlife.
Alia is an organised person and she doesn’t like to keep things for the last minute. She said that she will put her clothes together on time. She said, “Even as a child, an overflowing cupboard would give me a headache. I give away clothes as fast as I purchase them.”
Talking about her style Alia said that she prefers loose clothes over fitted ones. “I’m also quite fidgety so I don’t wear too many accessories,” said Alia.
