Alia Bhatt calls Ranbir Kapoor ‘best boyfriend ever’ as latter recreates Gangubai Kathiawadi pose

The trailer of Alia Bhatt-starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi was unveiled on Friday and it took the internet by storm. Many celebrities have heaped praise on Alia for her impactful performance in the trailer. Her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor also decided to show his appreciation for her in a different way.

Yesterday, Ranbir was spotted in the city post the trailer release and was asked to share his reaction. To which, the actor responded with the Gangubai-style namaste pose, which Alia’s character strikes in the film. His reaction left fans in awe of the duo!

Soon after, Alia Bhatt reacted to her boyfriend recreating her signature pose from the film and posted a collage of her and Ranbir Kapoor doing the same pose on her Instagram story and wrote: “Best boyfriend ever.”

Ranbir’s mother and actress Neetu Kapoor also reacted to Gangubai Kathiawadi’s trailer on her social media handle and wrote, “Uff Outstanding” as she reposted the trailer on her Instagram stories. Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also gave shout out to Gangubai Kathiawadi trailer. “OMG! Can’t wait to watch.”

Meanwhile, Alia’s upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on a chapter from Hussain Zaidi’s book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai that is about a woman named, Gangubai Kothewali. The movie also features Ajay Devgn, Vijay Raazi, Jim Sarbh, and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It is one of the most anticipated releases of the year and will hit the screens on February 25 this year.

On the other hand, the lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be seen together for the first time on the big screen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra.
