Alia Bhatt had a crush on Ranbir Kapoor since she was a teenager

Alia Bhatt is currently going through a purple patch. The ‘Udta Punjab’ actress is only 25 years old but has come a long way in the industry. The young and fashionable diva gave a memorable and powerful performance in Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Raazi’. The film was appreciated by critics and audiences alike and earned over Rs 100 crore at the box office.

Alia Bhatt is also in the news for her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. Now, the ‘Highway’ actress has said that she had a crush on Ranbir since when she was a teenager. Recently, the actress appeared on a show to reflect on the year 2018, where actress such as Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, and Taapsee Pannu were also present.

While speaking on the show, Alia revealed, “I met Ranbir when I was 11, I had auditioned for ‘Black’. Since then, I had a crush on him. And then he came in ‘Saawariya’, and I had already seen him.” Alia has always held Ranbir in high regard and is very fond of him.

Alia and Ranbir will be seen in Ayan Mukherji’s ‘Brahmastra’, which also features Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. The actress is awaiting her next release ‘Gully Boy’. The film has been directed by Zoya Akhtar and stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role. ‘Gully Boy’ is slated to release on February 14, 2019.
