Alia Bhatt to debut as a Pop Artist

Newbie actress Alia Bhatt, daughter of famous filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, has garnered rave reviews not only for her performance in Highway but also received much praise for her debut singing with the legendary A R Rahman in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Highway’. Now it seems that the young and dashing actress is all set to add another feather to her cap. Alia is all set to prove her singing talents internationally.

As per sources, electric pop artist, RedFoo from LMFAO will be meeting Alia over a private luncheon in a five star suburban hotel to discuss the possible collaborations. Discussions regarding Alia’s first stage appearance as a pop artist too.

Sources further added, Alia says, “When I heard that my close friend Kunal Jain is bringing them to India for the first time, I was like this is it. In fact, my friends have suggested that I should consider doing a fun high energy song with him ever since Highway released, which I can use exclusively in my next film probably. But I will be performing on stage with Red Foo and man it just gives me goose bumps. I’m already planning my wardrobe.”

RedFoo along with the Party Rock Crew are slated to perform on the 22nd of March 2014 at Huda Grounds, Gurgaon and 23rd of March 2014 at Wilson Gymkhana, Mumbai.
