We are living in the age of social media and 24*7 internet. Bollywood celebrities nowadays have to be extra careful and you never know what might get you in trouble. Sometime back, Amitabh Bachchan had tweeted a gif of Prayagraj and captioned it saying that ‘ek anokhi kahaani…ek anokha aarambh’ (a unique story, a unique beginning) before saying to stay tuned for more updates. He ended the tweet with the hashtag #Prayagraj. And then suddenly Big B deleted the tweet.
As we all know, tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated.
However, actress Alia Bhatt posted the same gif and hashtag on her Twitter timeline and captioned it saying she is ‘so so excited for this’. The ‘Gully Boy’ actress also ended up deleting the tweet.
Now, Twitterati were in their element and started trolling Alia Bhatt on how can she promote her project in the wake of tension between India and Pakistan.
Modi jesa koi aur bhi hai ab pata chala. This miss is busy in promotion while such a tragedy is going on all over the country. Salute! https://t.co/0yrF4F94Ty

Alia, you are a fine actor. Don’t do such stupid things which you did at # KofeeWithKaran.
No one damm is exicted in India in the current situations.
Anyways if u r going to Prayagraj; pray for Abhinandan’s ji release by taking a holy dip. https://t.co/GCWCq7oLmE— Prateek (@prateek850) February 27, 2019

When the country is in such situations.. We should be more sensitive towards the soldiers safeguarding us.. We are not at all excited about your promotions and entertainment at this critical hour

Its really bad timing for your promotions. Please understand what’s going in India ??

We can understand that passions are running high but it is certainly not appropriate to target celebrities. Alia Bhatt is also standing with our armed forces and to troll her on social media is really missing the point.
