Alia Bhatt feels honoured as she features on Time 100 list; overjoyed fans say ‘well deserved’

Actor Alia Bhatt is truly a global star. After making her English debut in Heart of Stone, she is teaching new heights. As we speak of it, Alia becomes the most influential person as she features in the Time 100 list. She took to her Instagram and shared a post, feeling honoured to be part of this achievement. The Darlings actor was praised for her dedication and hard work by British writer and filmmaker Tom Harper in the magazine. Bhatt and Harper had collaborated on the film, Heart of Stone

Sharing the post, she wrote, “Honoured to be a part of the #TIME100 @time Thank you dearest #TomHarper for your kind kind words.”

Tom Harper says, “Alia Bhatt is a formidable talent. She is not only one of the world’s leading actors, admired for her work in the Indian film industry for over a decade she is also a businesswoman and a philanthropist who leads with integrity. I met Alia in Heart Of Stone, her English language film debut. Despite her fans, on set she is self-effacing and funny. There is grace to the way she goes about her work: focused, open to ideas and willing to take creative risks. One of my favourite moments in the film came from an improvisation at the end of the take where she took the emotional thread and ran with it.“

The director further said, “Alia’s superpower is her ability to mix movie-star magnetism with authenticity and sensitivity. As an actor, she is luminous, and as a person, she brings the grounded assurance and creativity that make a truly international star.”

On the professional front, Alia is also a National Award winner who bagged the Best Actor award for Gangubai Kathiawadi. She is currently shooting for her co-producing movie Jigra which also stars Vedang Raina. She is also reuniting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Love War which also stars Ranbir Kapoor ans Vicky Kaushal.
