Alia Bhatt gets a Gangubai style birthday wish from Karim Lala aka Ajay Devgn

Actor Alia Bhatt has turned a year older today and the birthday wishes are coming in order on social media. Her mother Soni Razdan, sister Shaheen Bhatt and many others were seen wishing Alia on her 29th birthday. Well, this time, she just got another sweet birthday wish from none other than her Gangubai Kathiawadi co-star Ajay Devgn. He took to his Twitter handle and revealed how it was a treat for him to witness her excellence while quoting one of her famous dialogues from the film.

Ajay, in full Gangubai style, tweeted, “Happy birthday, dear @aliaa08 It’s been a treat to witness your excellence. Never change, kyunki Gangu chaand hi rahegi!” Now, that’s really unique, right? For the first time, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn have worked together in Gangubai Kathiawadi where they essayed the role of brother and sister. Alia played the mafia queen who helped Ajay Devgn’s character Karim Lala’s business in the film.

Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt penned a beautiful letter for the Raazi actor. Her note read, “My best friend, my baby girl, my everything. There are few things in life comparable to the joy of having you by my side on this and every journey. I’m so proud of you. Of the person you’re evolving into, of the person you so effortlessly are, of the person you work so hard to be. We call you sunshine because you are – dazzling, life-affirming and unfiltered.
