Alia Bhatt gets a sweet kiss from Ranbir Kapoor in new surreal photos from her godh bharai

Actor Alia Bhatt who is soon going to embrace motherhood with Ranbir Kapoor recently had her godh bharai ceremony (baby shower) at Vastu. We get to see her family members like Soni Razdan, Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Mahesh Bhatt and more were seen attending her baby shower. Some pictures even made it to social media and they were absolutely beautiful.

Now, Alia took to her Instagram account and dropped a few more pictures from her baby shower and our heart just melted instantly. In one of the pictures, we see Alia and Ranbir smiling in the candid shot while another one had the Shamshera actor planting a sweet kiss on Alia’s cheek as she sits on his lap. We also see two pictures of Alia with the Bhatt clans whereas another has one with the Kapoor clans, and it was perfect.

The Gangubai Kathiawadi actor is also seen smiling with her childhood girl gang. Alia Bhatt wore a stunning mustard yellow traditional dress, looking absolutely radiant in her pregnancy glow. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor wore a peach embellished kurta and pyjama that he paired with a hairband.

Sharing the pictures with her fans, Alia wrote, “Just … love” and well, the photos are only oozing happiness and love vibes.

In a recent interview, Alia revealed how she and dad-to-be Ranbir will share their baby’s responsibilities. The 29-years-old actor told CNBC18, “I think the journey of discovery will begin once the baby comes. But definitely, the intention is to share, that’s most important.”

Alia added, “And Ranbir is very happy, he has already been like ‘baby you work from this month onwards, I will take time off so you can go to work. I can come back and then you can take time off then we just keep taking time off’. He is very happy to share that responsibility. And he in fact recently said in an interview that ‘I think I have this very big responsibility on my head and that is to send Alia back to work because the fans would really complain and hold me responsible if I don’t do my bit as a parent as well.’”

Meanwhile, in June, the Brahmastra couple announced that they are expecting their first child and fans just couldn’t stop rejoicing. Amidst her pregnancy phase, Alia has been promoting her movie Brahmastra with her husband Ranbir Kapoor.
