Alia Bhatt radiates pregnancy glow as she gives a sneak peek into her maternity wear line

Alia Bhatt announced that she has launched her own line of maternity wear. On Friday, Alia shared the news with her fans and followers on Instagram. The actress revealed that she had lots of thoughts while shopping for her maternity clothes. She added that she even thought if she should ‘raid’ hubby Ranbir Kapoor’s wardrobe. The actress had promised to give a sneak peak of Edamamma Maternity Wear on Saturday and well, the video is out now.

She shared a video on Instagram and gave a glimpse of the maternity clothes. The actress’ pregnancy glow is unmissable. Also, she can also be seen flaunting her baby bump wearing all the stylish yet comfy maternity clothes.

She captioned it saying, “Edamamma Maternity Wear – made with a lot of love – for mama-beans Launching 14^th October!!”

On Friday, Alia had shared a post announcing the same. The actress wrote, “Two years ago, I started a children’s clothing brand. Everyone asked why I’m doing a kids brand when I don’t have kids. Now, I’m launching my own line of maternity-wear. I don’t think anyone will ask why (smile emoji). But let me tell you anyway. It’s not like I’ve bought maternity clothes before. But when I got down to it, I was overwhelmed.”

She added, “You don’t know how you’re going to look or feel over the next few months and let’s be honest, not being able to find the right thing to wear can be stressful. Do I buy brands I already wear but in a bigger size? Should I raid Ranbir’s wardrobe? And just because my body is changing doesn’t mean my sense of style has to, right? So I started making my personal style more bump-friendly.” The actress went on to add that she added elastic to her favourite jeans and designed shirts that she don’t have to share with Ranbir. Alia also shared she wore flowy dresses to not invite any ‘unwanted belly-touch’.

Alia and Ranbir tied the knot in April, and announced pregnancy in June. The couple is expecting their first child together.
