The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences also known as Oscars have finally released its annual list of their new members. Last year the Oscars were brutally bashed for being all white and mostly men. This year they have widened the horizon and this time there are a lot of female members, international members and underrepresented ethnic/racial communities.
This years list includes 49% International names, 45% women and 36% from underrepresented ethic/racial. From Bollywood Indian actors we have Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan on the list. Neeta Lulla was in the costume department.
