Reportedly Alia Bhatt will be sporting a Prabal Gurung outfit for the big day. Other than Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra will also be seen at the MET this year. It is also rumoured that BTS members Jimin and RM, along with BLACKPINK’s Rosé, Jennie are also likely to attend the event this year.

The Met Gala is organised on the first Monday of May every year. It is attended by the who’s who of fashion and entertainment industries. Metropolitan Museum of Art hosts the event, curated by former Vogue editor Anna Wintour. The theme of the MET Gala this year will be Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, honouring the German fashion designer. The legendary fashion designer died in 2019 at the age of 85. It will be hosted by actor and producer Michaela Coel, Oscar-winning actress Penélope Cruz, tennis superstar Roger Federer and Grammy-winning songstress Dua Lipa.

The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress will mark her Hollywood debut with action film Heart of Stone. The movie also features Wonder Woman actor Gal Gadot. Helmed by Tom Harper, Heart of Stone also stars Sophie Okonedo, Matthias Schweighofer, Jing Lusi, and Paul Ready in addition to Gal, Jamie, and Alia.The film will be out on Netflix on August 11.
