Actress Alia Bhatt is all ready and excited for her upcoming movie ‘Udta Punjab’, in which she will be seen playing the role of a Bihari migrant.
While speaking to a popular tabloid, Alia spoke about how she managed to portray such a character onscreen. She said, “I draw from my natural emotions. For a role like Student of the Year, I’d behave like I would if I was in love in real life. But here, I had no emotions to tap into. It took lots of discussions with Abhishek (Chaubey, director). He gave me the perspective I didn’t have. Then, I made it my own. I could never react naturally, the way Pinky (her character) does.”
Further the actress was asked about her marriage plans and her desire to start a family, to which she quipped, “I only think about that one day when I am standing in front of people, receiving an Oscar. What marriage is for most girls, an Oscar is for me.”
