Alia Bhatt: Living alone has made me more responsible

Alia Bhatt is currently all geared up for the release of her next movie ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, alongside Varun Dhawan.The two will be seen together for the third time on screen after ‘Student of the Year’ and ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’.

Not just on the professional front, the actress has been doing great guns on a personal level as well and has recently moved out of her parents’ home to her own new abode, a plush apartment in the suburbs with her sister Shaheen Bhatt. While speaking of her decision to stay and how it has changed her, the actress opened up and said, “It’s made me more responsible. But I’ve barely been there to enjoy my new home. There were some problems, like the plumbing, earlier, but I’ve taken care of that and things are slowly falling into place.”

Alia has a few months in hand before she starts shooting for her next with Ranbir Kapoor, which is directed by Ayan Mukerji. She also revealed that she now wants to learn new stuff like playing the piano and cooking. “I also want to learn how to cook and play the piano. Earlier I’d planned to do a film between these two but nothing interesting came my way. Now, I’m glad for the break because once I’m back on set, I’ll be nervous and raw again. Also, I find myself getting repetitive in small ways. Maybe I’m imagining or over-thinking but I plan to make good use of this time off.”

She also has a film with Ranveer Singh in her kitty, titled ‘Gully Boyz’ which is a Zoya Akhtar venture on a popular street rapper of Mumbai.
