Alia Bhatt made her Met Gala 2023 debut on Tuesday. Shaheen Bhatt shared her sister’s photos on Instagram and called her an ‘angel’.

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has made her Met Gala 2023 debut. The actress arrived in a white gown and looked beyond beautiful. For the prestigious event, Alia stunned in a sleeveless white gown embellished with pearls. She rounded off her mesmerising look with minimal jewellery. We love how she kept her look simple yet elegant.

Alia Bhatt shared her photos on Instagram and described her stunning look in the caption. A part of her caption reads, “I wanted to do something that felt authentic (hello, pearls!) and proudly made in India. The embroidery, made with a 100,000 pearls is a labour of love by @prabalgurung… I’m so proud to wear you for my first Met. A girl can never have too many pearls… and the right accessories to compliment the look which in our case translated to the bow of pearls on my hair. Oh, and it’s white, for my Choup-ED.” In case you don’t know, the Met Gala 2023 theme is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.

For the uninitiated, Alia is set to make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone. The upcoming film also stars Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, and Matthias Schweighofer. Directed by Tom Harper, Heart of Stone is slated to release on 11^th August, 2023.
