Alia Bhatt on marriage plans: Timing doesn’t matter when you meet the right person

Last year, we saw several actors tying the knot with their lovers. Seems like everyone is eager to taste the ‘Shaadi Ka Laddoo’. It looks like very soon, couples like Arjun Kapoor-Malaika Arora, Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar are going to take the plunge. And yes, how can we forget Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The buzz is that their family is eager to witness them exchange wedding vows.

Now, in the recently released videos of ‘Unseen Koffee Konfessions’ episode, we see Alia opening about marriage and how it no longer affects the career of an actress. On the show, talking about her perception about marriage, Alia said, “Honestly, there was a time in my life when I was like I am not going to get married till I am 30. I need to act. But when you feel like you are in a space where you are comfortable and it feels peaceful and right, then there is no timing that really matters.”

She also opened up on how an actor’s relationship status doesn’t matter to the audience anymore.“I have never calculated my career or my choices. Anyway, it is now proven that it is not actors who drive the film but it is the content. So, whether I am married or single or in a relationship, it does not matter,” she said.

Interestingly, 25-year-old Alia Bhatt in some of her previous interviews had said that she is too young to get married. But it looks like in Ranbir, she has found her “right person”. So perhaps we may get to see them married very soon. Keeping our fingers crossed.
