The first episode has surely set a tone for the season and it exceeded the level of expectations that people had from this fiery trio.

When Karan asked Alia which statement sums her up better, how to stay friends with an ex or how to stay friends with your partner’s ex, the actress chose the latter. Elaborating on that, she said, “I think how to stay friends with your partner’s ex because I am very good friends with his exes and I love them both. And there are others but I don’t know them.” When retorted if they love her too, she answered with a “Yeah”.

As for Ranbir Kapoor, his exes that Alia is talking about are Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif and the actress is indeed good friends with both of them. In the show’s last season, Alia even made her appearance alongside Deepika and the two openly spoke about their respective relationships with Ranbir and Ranveer on the couch. As for Katrina, Alia and her are really great friends and they are also set to share screen together in Farhan Akhtar’s directorial return Jee Le Zaraa, along with Priyanka Chopra.
