Alia Bhatt to organise a special screening of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ for NGO kids

Alia Bhatt is having extended celebrations this year, on her birthday. The actress, who had a grand birthday bash yesterday, which saw her close friends and family in attendance, is still not done with the celebrations.

Alia supports an NGO called Angel Express Foundation and will be hosting a special screening of the film ‘Beauty and the Beast’ for the kids of the NGO. The screening will be organised by the actress at a suburban theatre and along with the kids, it will also be attended by Alia’s friends and family members. Alia has had a very productive birthday this year. The actress also welcomed a new member to her family, a kitten. She celebrated her birthday in her gym as well, where she cut a cake and greeted some fans on her way out.

On the work front, the actress is riding high on the success of her latest release ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ alongside Varun Dhawan. She will soon start shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s next with Ranbir Kapoor. The actress also has Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ opposite Ranveer Singh in her kitty.

Well, seems like we are going to have a year of Alia’s talented performances, much like last year wherein she entertained us with various facets of her acting skills in ‘Kapoor & Sons – Since 1921’, ‘Dear Zindagi’, and ‘Udta Punjab’.
