Alia Bhatt plays Bihari migrant in ‘Udta Punjab’

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is currently busy with Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’, along with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. There is a lot of curiosity regarding the movie, that has ex-lovers Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor coming together after a long time.

We are sure that Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor fans were a disappointed lot, when they realized that the ex-flames do not share any screen space in the movie. Shahid Kapoor has Alia Bhatt opposite him and Kareena Kapoor has Diljit Dosanjh.

Alia Bhatt who has usually played the role of an urban girl in most of her films, will be going rural with Udta Punjab. For the first time, the actress will be seen playing the role of a Bihari migrant in the film. Alia is a daily wage labourer who comes to Punjab for job prospects. We hear that this is the toughest and most intense role that Alia has ever played.
