Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s baby girl is ‘kudrat ka daan’, says nani Soni Razdan

Alia Bhatt welcomed her first child with husband Ranbir Kapoor on Sunday (November 6). Alia gave birth to a baby girl. Alia and Ranbir returned home from the hospital with their princess on Thursday morning. The actress’ mother-actor Soni Razdan attended the special screening of Amitabh Bachchan and Anupam Kher starrer Uunchai last night. The veteran actor looked happy as she answered questions about daughter Alia and granddaughter.

When asked her if she was giving any tips to new mom Alia, Soni Razdan smiled and said, “Ek maa hu mein so tips kaise nahi dungi. Bohot saare tips diye hai maine. Of course, she is a mother. She has to discover a lot of things for herself and she will.”

Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan about Ranbir-Alia newly born daughter

The veteran actor further called Alia and Ranbir’s baby girl ‘kudrat ka daan (God’s blessing)’ She added, “We are just very, very thankful and grateful that everything has gone well. Baby is good and mother is good. Everybody is safe. And of course, we are very, very happy.”

On Sunday, Alia announced the birth of her baby girl with a heartwarming note. The note reads: “And in the best news of our lives: – Our baby is here… and what a magical girl she is (heart emoji) We are officially bursting with love – blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!! Love love love Alia and Ranbir.” Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Riteish Deshmukh among others congratulated the new parents.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir are yet to reveal their baby girl’s name and face

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are currently on cloud nine. The new parents were spotted in the morning today with their baby girl. New mom Alia looked happy as Ranbir held his daughter.

On the work front, the couple was seen together in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva. Brahmastra also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. Shah Rukh Khan made a cameo in the film. The first part was released in September and did well at the box office. Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev is slated to release in 2025.
