Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor did not have a sangeet ceremony or bachelor & bachelorette parties?

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are finally married. The entire nation had their eyes on the couple given the constant buzz about their wedding. Till the last day, the Raalia fans were left guessing if Alia and Ranbir were getting hitched. But Neetu Kapoor and her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahani put the rumours to rest when they revealed Alia and Ranbir will be getting married on April 14, today. But, did you know that Ranbir and Alia did not have a sangeet ceremony?

Not just that, the buzz is that Raalia also did not have a bachelor or a bachelorette party either. Alia and Ranbir opted for an intimate wedding at the Sanju actor’s home in Vastu. The pre-wedding festivities began with the Haldi and Mehendi ceremony but no sangeet?

While one would have expected to see Alia jet off with her girlfriends for a bachelorette party but none of that happened. Meanwhile, Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor was seen flaunting her Mehendi which had her late husband Rishi Kapoor’s name on it. Riddhima and Karisma Kapoor were also seen sharing their gorgeous Mehendis.

Well, Alia and Ranbir are now Mr and Mrs and we can’t wait to get a glimpse of the couple. Reports say that the newlyweds will make an appearance tonight for the paps who have been camping outside their house. Speaking of paps, sweets were distributed to the photographers outside by Alia and Ranbir. Attending the wedding were gyuest like Luv Ranjan, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and others.
