Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor to perform special pooja for Rishi Kapoor ahead of their wedding rituals?

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding is currently grabbing all the headlines. Fans are keen on knowing each and every detail of the wedding. The latest report states that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will perform a special pooja for late Rishi Kapoor on April 14 ahead of their wedding rituals. India Today reported that a pandit has been summoned to perform the pooja, and it will happen at the RK House in Chembur. Post the pooja, the wedding rituals will start.

A source told the portal, “Ranbir and Alia will perform a pooja at RK House in Chembur. The pooja will happen on Thursday morning, April 14, post which the actual wedding rituals will begin. The pooja will be attended by all members of the Kapoor and Bhatt family. This special pooja will be offered in Rishi Kapoor’s name. The family will pray for peace for the departed soul and also remember him fondly.”

Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020. Alia has been with the Kapoor family through thick and thin. His swangsong Sharmaji Namkeen released recently and it received positive reviews.

Coming back to Alia and Ranbir’s wedding, reports state that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding festivities begin today, with mehendi and sangeet while the wedding is taking place on Thursday, April 14. The outfits by Sabyasachi for the soon-to-be married couple had already arrived. Yesterday, Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni along with her husband and daughter arrived for her brother’s big day.

Meanwhile, Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji unveiled the teaser of Alia and Ranbir’s song Kesariya from the movie. He congratulated them on their new life.
