Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor welcome baby girl: Bua Riddhima Kapoor Sahni says she ‘can’t wait to meet the newborn’

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor on Sunday, November 6 welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in Mumbai. And now, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, the baby’s bua has reacted to the good news. Ranbir’s sister said she can’t wait to meet the newborn. She even mentioned she is currently in France and would meet the little one via video call.

Speaking with Hindustan Times, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni firstly thanked everyone for the sweet wishes. She said, “Thank you so much for your wishes! I am actually in France right now, but I can’t wait to see the newborn!”

Ranbir’s sister further mentioned that everyone in the family is very excited. She added, “We are all very excited in the family. My mom will FaceTime me the minute she sees her, I am so happy!”

Taking to her Instagram stories, Riddhima shared a photo of Ranbir and Alia and congratulated the couple. She even showered love and wishes on the newborn and said, “Bua loves you.”

Sahni wrote, “Ooooooofffff! Happiest today (white heart icon) Proud parents to the most adorable baby girl #blessings Bua Loves her already.”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor shared the sweetest announcement on the arrival of their baby. The actress called her daughter a’ magical girl’ in the heartwarming post on Instagram.

Alia’s statement reads: “And in the best news of our lives:- Our baby is here and what a magical girl she is (heart emoji) We are officially bursting with love- blessed and obsessed parents!! Love love love Alia and Ranbir”

Alia and Ranbir were spotted at HN Reliance hospital earlier on Sunday morning. The couple was clicked arriving in their car. A few hours later, Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan were also clicked arriving at the hospital.

Talking about Ranbir and Alia, the couple tied the knot in April, this year. They met on the sets of Brahmastra and fell in love while working together. The couple was in a relationship for years, before they decided to get married.
