Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh have made the audience love their chemistry in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. First the romantic ballad Tum Kya Mile and now, the peppy track What Jhumka from the film have made the wait for its release all the more exciting. Adding to that, Alia and Ranveer posted a reel on their latest track, but it’s a special cameo that took the spotlight.

On Wednesday, the team of RARKPK released the new track from the film, What Jhumka. It instantly connected to the audience who loved the tribute to the iconic Jhumka Gira Re through this song. People are already making their reels on Instagram on the song. And the lead pair of Alia and Ranveer have also joined in the trend.

In a fun video, Ranveer and Alia are seen running to the Dharma Productions’ office to reach on time before the beat drop. While their playfulness is adorable, it’s their contrasting outfits that strike out. Alia is wearing a blue sweater with Team Rani written on a pink background, whereas Ranveer’s has this in reverse for Team Rocky. The actor’s rainbow jeans are just too cool.

The duo looks in such a fun zone as they do the hook step of What Jhumka. But they are joined by a special guest towards the end, Karan Johar. The director of the film pulls off an exasperated expression so effortlessly. The way he asks ‘What Jhumka’ to close the reel is just too on point. While Alia and Ranveer are good, Karan just takes the spotlight in this.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani release date

RARKPK marks Karan’s return as a director after 7 years. Along with Alia and Ranveer, the film also features legends like Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. The film has a theatrical release date of July 28, 2023.
