Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh has collected 27.15 cr in two days. For third day, the film witnessed 40% Jump in numbers and the collection is expected to be around Rs 21 crores.

The film collected Rs 11.10 crore on Friday and almost 45 per cent growth on Saturday as it minted Rs 16.05 crore. The total collection of two days sums up to Rs 27.15 cr. Talking about the third day collection, there has been 40% jump in the booking during the morning and afternoon shows because of which the film can rake in 20-30 crores. Advance booking for evening and night shows is great. If numbers get better in the night shows, then there is a potential that film can touch even Rs 50 crore in its opening weekend.

Apart from Alia and Ranveer, the movie also boasts a stellar cast of veteran actors. This includes Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. In addition, the film also stars Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly and Anjali Anand in supporting roles. The story of the film is penned by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy. While its music has been composed by Madan Mohan and Pritam, the lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
