Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani box office: Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer’s Tuesday collection shows a rare jump from Monday

Karan Johar made a smashing directorial comeback after 7 years last Friday with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer was instantly accepted and appreciated by audiences and critics alike. After a stunning first weekend at the box office, the film is springing new surprises during the weekdays too.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Tuesday box office collection

RRKPK collected Rs 45.90 crores domestically over the first weekend. All the three days went in double digits. Monday was its crucial litmus test to see how will the lifetime collection of the film will fare out to be. And the film passed that test with flying colours. On Tuesday, it sprung a pleasant surprise as well as the Day 5 collection showed a rare slight jump from Day 4.

On Monday, RRKPK collected Rs 7.02 crores. Usually, the Tuesday collections are lower than the Monday’s unless it’s a holiday. A slight dip was expected in the collection but RRKPK showed a surprising jump instead. The Day 5 figures are Rs 7.30 crores, higher than Day 4. Now, the total collection of the film stands at Rs 60.22 crores. RRKPK is expected to cross Rs 70 crore mark in its first week with 2 days remaining.

If the film keeps up the pace, Rs 100 crore mark seems very much of a possibility as of now in the second week. The fact that works in its favour is that there is no big release this coming Friday. Gadar 2 and OMG 2 are the next big Hindi films releasing on August 11, 2023. So, RRKPK has a clear window to perform till then.
