Alia Bhatt reacts to Rangoli Chandel’s mocking tweet after she sent Kangana Ranaut flowers for her Padma Shri honour

Several Bollywood celebs such as Kangana Ranaut, Karan Johar and Adnan Sami were conferred with Padma Shri awards last week. Alia Bhatt despite not sharing cordial relations with Kangana sent her flowers congratulating for her big win. However, Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel mocked Alia. Now Alia has shared her views on Rangoli’s not-so-warm response.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Alia responding to Rangoli’s post said, “Let them react the way they want to. I am happy for Kangana.” Earlier mocking Alia’s sweet gesture Rangoli took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “Yeh dekho Alia ji ne bhi Kangana ko phool bheje hain, Kangana ka pata nahin magar mujhe bahut maza aa raha hai.”

Ever since Kangana raised her voice against Nepotism and called Karan Johar movie-mafia, they never shared a cordial relationship. Kangana even took potshots at Karan’s protege Alia Bhatt. The ‘Panga’ actress had even accused Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt of misbehaving with her when she had just entered Bollywood.

Now despite all their previous spat, Alia believed in letting bygones be bygones and extended an olive branch, however going by Rangoli’s response, seems like she is not in a mood to bury the hatchet any time soon.
