Actress Alia Bhatt is currently on a promotional spree for her upcoming movie Darlings. Recently, at an event, the would-be mom opened up about the criticism Brahmastra song Kesariya faced for the words ‘Love Storiyaan’ in the song. The moment Kesariya was released, it became a fodder for meme lords to come up with funny memes surrounding the aforementioned words. The song was mercilessly trolled on social media.
Yesterday, Alia, was in New Delhi for the launch of Darlings song La Ilaaj. At the event when she was asked about it, the actress said, “Gaana number one pe hai, toh main kyun complaint karun! (The song is number one on the charts, then why should I complain).”
Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor and Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji had also spoke about the song getting criticised.

Coming back to Alia, Darlings is her maiden production and she is also acting in it. It is a dark comedy directed by Jasmeet K Reen and also stars Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew. It is releasing on Netflix on August 5.
