Alia Bhatt recalls how her husband Ranbir Kapoor gave her the most romantic birthday gift and we envy them

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are undoubtedly one of the most loved star couples in Bollywood. The much-in-love couple tied the knot in April 2022 after a courtship of over 4 years. They welcomed their first child, daughter Raha Kapoor in November, of the same year. The couple never leaves a chance to express their love for each other. Recently, during an interview, Alia Bhatt revealed the best gift she received from her husband Ranbir Kapoor and said that she didn’t share it with anyone.

During a conversation with a leading magazine, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actress was asked about the best gift she has ever received. Replying to this, the actress recalled, “The best gift I have gotten was from my husband, he was my boyfriend at that point in time. We were shooting a movie in Bulgaria and there is this particular cake that I am obsessed with in London from a cafe called Leto. It’s a milk cake. He flew the cake down from London to Bulgaria so I could cut it on my birthday and eat it for two days! I literally did not share it, not even with him, I didn’t share it with anyone!”.

On the work front, the Brahmastra duo was rumoured to star in filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious Ramayana adaptation as Ram and Sita. However, there has been no update on the status of the project.

The talented actress has a massive line-up of promising projects, including Jee Le Zaraa helmed by Farhan Akhtar alongside Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra. As per reports, she also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra and the eighth installment of YRF Spy Universe. Ranbir, meanwhile, will be next seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal alongside Rashmika Mandanna. The film is all set to release in theatres in December 2023.
