Alia Bhatt receives a handwritten note from Amitabh Bachchan as he lauds her Gangubai Kathiawadi performance

Alia Bhatt was last seen in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial titled Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actress managed to win hearts with her stellar performance as Gangubai in the movie. She earned immense praise for her bold and brave act in the SLB movie. Alia Bhatt on Monday took to her Instagram to share a photo of her as she received a letter of appreciation from superstar Amitabh Bachchan for her act in Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actress shows off the letter from Big B with pride.

The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress shared a glimpse of how her life has been from January to April, in a set of selfies. The first photo features a sunkissed selfie clicked by Bhatt. The second picture in the string is of Alia clicking herself in a night suit. She is posing for the photo, holding a handwritten note, signed by Amitabh Bachchan. Sharing the photos, the actress wrote, “Jan – April ISL ( In Selfie Life ) (sic).”

In the note, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Alia, you are beyond magnificent in Gangubai. I am short of words to express anymore! My love as ever, Amitabh Bachchan (sic).”

Meanwhile, the third picture in the string features Alia taking a selfie from the shooting of the song Kesariya from Brahmastra. The last photo is a selfie of Bhatt taken from a vacation. The actress is posing for a beautiful selfie in a white monokini, while she soaks in the cold pool water.

Alia is all set to share screen space with superstar Amitabh Bachchan for the very first time, in the movie Brahmastra, helmed by Ayan Mukerji. Brahmastra also features Alia’s husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor in a key role. The movie is scheduled to release in September, 2022.

On the work front, the actress also has the movie Darlings with Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma. She also has Jee Le Zaraa with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif, in her kitty.
