Alia Bhatt refuses to feature in Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Bhoomi’

From the time Sanjay Dutt has been set free from prison, his comeback film is much in talks. Sanjay Dutt is being offered quite a few films, but the confirmed one is his ‘Bhoomi’. Directed by Omung Kumar, ‘Bhoomi’ will bring the fierce Sanjay Dutt back to the big screen. The story is about father-daughter relationship wherein Sanjay would play the role of father. As per reports, the makers are quite keen to rope in the ‘Udta Punjab’ star, Alia Bhatt, to play Sanjay’s daughter. But unfortunately, Alia has refused this offer.

If reports are to be believed then Alia does not seem to be interested in this film. Despite several attempts to get her on board, Alia has maintained a stern no. Sanjay apparently had asked Alia’s mentor Karan Johar and her dad Mahesh Bhatt to convince the lady to sign up this project, but to his disappointment, even KJo and Mahesh Bhatt could not do much to help him.
