Alia Bhatt remembers late father-in-law Rishi Kapoor as she shares throwback family photo on his death anniversary

Actor Alia Bhatt who recently got married to Ranbir Kapoor was seen sharing a post of late actor Rishi Kapoor on his second death anniversary. The actor took to his Instagram stories and dropped a lovely monochrome family picture and we are in all hearts to see it. The picture is from his last days, it seemed to be taken from the time when Alia had gone to New York to meet Rishi Kapoor who was getting treated for his cancer in the city.

The picture has Rishi ji, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, flashing their warm smiles for the photo. Sharing the monochrome picture on Instagram stories, Alia captioned, “Always and forever,” followed by a heart emoji. Rishi Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have worked together in Kapoor and Sons. On the other hand, Neetu Kapoor shared an emotional video and mentioned that even though it has been 2 years since he passed away, losing a partner of 45 years is painful.

The Jugg Jug Jeeyo actor captioned, “Today is two years since rishi ji left us … losing a partner of 45 years was difficult n painful at that time the only way to heal my heart was to keep myself mentally occupied .. Movie n television helped me achieve that rishiji will always be remembered n will stay in everyone’s heart forever”

Even Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared a post on her late father’s death anniversary. She simply captioned it with, “Papa” followed by a heart emoji. Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, after suffering from cancer.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt is currently shooting for her upcoming Karan Johar movie, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film also stars Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, Shaban Azmi and Ranveer Singh in pivotal roles. She also has Darlings, Brahmastra and a Hollywood film with Gal Gadot.
