Alia Bhatt reveals her date for tonight and it is not Ranbir Kapoor

Alia Bhatt recently wrapped up the shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi after two long years. The actress, taking to her Instagram handle shared a few pictures with SLB and the crew of the film and wrote about her experience of working on the film. Now, after wrapping up the shoot of Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia is all set for a date tonight. If you are thinking it’s Ranbir Kapoor, you are wrong. Alia will resume prepping for her new project, Darlings.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Alia shared the script copy of Darlings and wrote, “MY DATE TODAY”.

Alia Bhatt, who recently started her own production house titled Eternal Sunshine Productions, will make her debut as a producer with Darlings. The film is co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment. Apart from Alia Bhatt, the movie will also star Shefali Shah, Roshan Mathew, and Vijay Varma. Darlings is a dark comedy and will be directed by Jasmeet K Reen.

Meanwhile, wrapping up the shoot of Gangubai Kathiawadi, Ali wrote, “We started shooting Gangubai on the 8th of December 2019… And we wrapped the film now 2 years later! This film and set has been through two lockdowns…Two cyclones. Director and actor getting COVID during the making! The troubles the set has faced is another film all together”.

She ended her post, “When a film ends a part of you ends with it! Today I’ve lost a part of me… Gangu I love you! You will be missed. PS_ A special mention to my crew – my family and friends for these two years! Without you nothing would have been possible! Love you guys.”

Alia will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, which also stars her boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor and she also has SS Rajamouli’s RRR.
