Alia Bhatt narrates how Shah Rukh Khan helped her

The Gangubai Kathiawadi actor said, “Actually, I was not going to reveal this, it was my little secret. But I was very nervous. I don’t know whether it was because going back to shoot after a couple of months, the first time doing a full proper lip-sync song after Ishq Wala Love. There was an inherent sort of nervousness in me that I felt I can do better. So, I was discussing it with Karan and he said ‘Why don’t you call Shah Rukh (Khan) up, maybe he will give you some tips. I called him up to talk on the phone. I just wanted to understand because nobody lip-syncs like you.

Alia further added, “He (SRK) said, “Tu ghar aaja. Suhana also wanted to learn this so I’ll tuition you both. So you come home with the song’. I went and I was there for about 2-3 hours and Suhana and I were singing the entire song. There’s some lip-sync portion that Shreya (Ghoshal) has sung beautifully whose extended version is yet to release. The song is fast-paced and I was getting hyper but the way he broke it down. He made me download some apps and said to keep doing this. He also learned the song by the end of it. This shows how generous and large-hearted man he is so wonderful who is always there and willing to help you. I don’t know whether it has helped me in this film or not. I know that memory will be irreplaceable for me in my life.”

Tum Kya Mile song is crooned by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. The music is composed by Pritam and the lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
