Alia Bhatt says ‘first priority is my daughter’ when asked about handling work post motherhood

Actor Alia Bhatt recently attended an event for Zee Cine Awards 2023 where she will be performing at the awards ceremony. During the press conference, Alia who recently embraced motherhood was asked about handling work post welcoming her daughter Raha Kapoor. Alia Bhatt stated her first priority is her daughter; however, the work would be quality over quantity.

Alia Bhatt on handling work post motherhood:

The Gangubai Kathiawadi actor said, “I take one day at a time and do my best but the number one priority in my life right now is my daughter whom I love deeply. But my next love, not next love, like my first love you can also say, is movies, cinema and working so I’ll keep trying. Maybe it would be quality over quantity, which is not bad.”

Alia Bhatt on performing at Zee Cine Awards:

After the announcement that Alia Bhatt and Varun would perform at the awards ceremony, Alia admitted that she is feeling nervous about getting back on stage. “I’m quite nervous since it has been a while since I’ve performed on stage. I’ve not had that stage show performance adrenaline in a very long time,” the Brahmastra actor said, adding she couldn’t recall when she was last on an awards stage for a performance.

On the professional front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Brahmastra with her husband Ranbir Kapoor. She will be next seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani which is helmed by Karan Johar. Bhatt is reuniting with her Gully Boy co-star Ranveer Singh. The movie is scheduled to release on April 23, 2023. She also has Jee Le Zara with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif which is touted to be the much-awaited movie. 

On the other hand, the 29-year-old actor will also be seen opposite Gal Gadot in Heart Of Stone which marks her Hollywood debut.
