Alia Bhatt on wedding with Ranbir Kapoor, says, ‘I am married to him in my head’

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are one of the most talked-about couples in Bollywood. They have been dating each other for a couple of years now and they are going great with their relationship. Rumours around Alia and Ranbir’s wedding have been doing rounds for a long time now.

In 2020, Ranbir spoke about his wedding with Alia and revealed that they would’ve been “sealed” had the Coronavirus pandemic not hit their lives. “I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life,” he told Rajeev Masand in an interview.

Now, the Student Of The Year actress reacted to Ranbir’s 2020 interview and revealed being married to him in her head. In an interview with NDTV, Alia said, “He is right but, in my head, I am married to Ranbir, in fact, I am married to Ranbir in my head for a long time. Everything happens for a reason. Whenever we do get married it will work out right and in a beautiful way.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia and Ranbir will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time in Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni. It will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada on 9 September 2022.

Alia will appear next in the Telugu-language period film RRR. She also has Gangubai Kathiawadi, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and Darlings. Whereas, Ranbir will be seen next in Karan Malhotra’s period adventure film Shamshera. He will star in Luv Ranjan’s as-yet untitled action thriller with Shraddha Kapoor and also has Animal.
