Alia Bhatt says motherhood is the ‘most beautiful phase of life’ as she opens up about daughter Raha

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in November last year. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir named their daughter Raha. Now, in a recent interview, Alia Bhatt opened up about her daughter Raha and called motherhood ‘the most beautiful phase’ of her life.

While promoting her maternity wear brand, Alia was asked about the challenges or difficulties she has been facing after becoming a mother. The actress told Money Control, “I wouldn’t use the words difficult and challenging. I mean every day is challenging in life in general. But to me, when you talk to me about being a mum, I only think of beautiful sunlight, starlight, sunshine and love.”

The actress went on to add that she is a ‘big ball of love’ and has a lot of love ‘in my heart and soul’. The new mommy then called motherhood ‘the most beautiful phase’ of her life.

The Brahmastra actress added, “I said a lot of adjectives as to how it’s treating me. I mean thinking about trying to manage life on all ends is you just have to keep going and you keep learning.”

A few days ago, Alia revealed how her skin become sensitive during pregnancy. The actress shared, “Especially during my pregnancy, my skin had become extremely sensitive, that’s a separate video altogether. I had to really cut down on my skincare routine. I tried so many products which were for sensitive skin, but still, they irritated my skin.”

Alia and Ranbir are very protective of their daughter. They are yet to reveal their daughter’s face. In November last year, Alia had shared a blurry image featuring herself, husband Ranbir and daughter Raha on Instagram. The actress had revealed that they named their baby girl ‘Raha’ and also explained the meaning behind her name.

A part of her caption read, “Raha, in its purest form means divine path, in Swahili, she is Joy, In Sanskrit, Raha is a clan, In Bangla – rest, comfort, relief, in Arabic peace, it also means happiness, freedom & bliss.”

On the work front, Alia has interesting projects in the pipeline. The actress will be reuniting onscreen with her Gully Boy co-star Ranveer Singh. The actors will be seen together in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The upcoming film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is slated to release on 28th July, 2023.

Apart from this, Alia is set to make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone. Alia’s fans are excited as she will be seen sharing screen space with Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo and Matthias Schweighofer in the same.
