Alia Bhatt all set to play a spy in Karan Johar’s next production venture?

Alia Bhatt has mostly done films under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. And now, reportedly, she will be once again seen in a film that will be produced by Karan. The movie will be directed by Meghna Gulzar and will be based on Harinder S. Sikka’s novel ‘Calling Sehmat.’

If these reports turn out to be true, then Alia will be seen playing the role of a spy. The movie is about a Kashmiri girl who is married to a Pakistani army officer. Alia has played diverse roles on the film, and we are sure that she will be simply perfect for this film as well. It is said that the shooting of the film will kickstart in July this year.

Alia was last seen on the big screen in ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. The only film of the actress that has been officially announced is Ayan Mukherji’s next which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. There have been reports that she will be seen in Aanand L Rai’s next which stars Shah Rukh Khan as the male lead. However, we are still awaiting an official confirmation. Talking about Meghna Gulzar, her last directorial was ‘Talvar’ which had release in 2015.
