Alia Bhatt & Shantanu Maheshwari’s teasing romance in Meri Jaan song of Gangubai Kathiawadi will intrigue you

Alia Bhatt is gearing up for the release of her much talked about movie Gangubai Kathiawadi which will hit the theatres on February 25. Ahead of the release, the Gangubai Kathiawadi has become quite the rage over its music. So far the makers have dropped two songs from the movie- Dholida and Jab Saiyaan and both have been loved by the fans. Today on Monday, the makers of Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi dropped another song titled Meri Jaan.

While the song is quite unique but the music video will surely leave you intrigued.  The song begins with Alia inviting Shantanu for a ride. Alia is seen in her iconic white saree with a rose in her hair, Shantanu on the other hand is seen in a worn-out blue outfit. When the two get in the car things get really steamy. Shantanu is seen trying to kiss Alia but all his efforts go in vain. It all comes to a screeching halt when Alia aka Gangubai pushes Shantanu back.

But looks like she was only wanting affection as Alia takes Maheshwari’s hand and makes him pat her. The song sure does strike a chord. Meri Jaan is sung by Neeti Mohan, lyrics are given by Kumaar.

Sharing a glimpse of the song on her Instagram account, Alia wrote in the caption, “Gangu #MeriJaan?? SONG OUT NOW: link in bio (sic)”
