Alia Bhatt’s Twitter chat with ex-boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra is hard to miss out

‘Student Of The Year’ couple Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra have maintained a cordial friendship ever since they split up. The two have never shied away from meeting each other at events or parties, and have even remained cordial when it came to social media. The latest example of the same is when Sid congratulated the team of ‘Kalank’ for the fantastic teaser, and Alia jumped in to thank Sid for the good wishes.

Sid took to Twitter to revert to Karan Johar’s tweet releasing the teaser. He wrote, “Wow superb guys ! Looking spectacular ?#KalankTeasar (sic).” Alia was quick to revert back with, “Thank youuuu sid!!!! ??? (sic).” It’s interesting to see the former lovers remain so friendly with each other.

Sidharth and Alia began their careers together with ‘Student Of The Year’ and were soon the ‘IT’ couple of the film industry. After doing films like ‘Kapoor & Sons’ together, they were also said to come together for ‘Aashiqui 3’. However, the split in their personal life shelved the future of the project. The makers of the movie are allegedly trying to get a new pairing on board for the film ever since.

Since their split, Alia has moved on to Ranbir Kapoor, and the two seem to be really happy in each others company. Their love story is going stronger by the day, and fans are loving every bit of it. Sid, on the other hand, was rumoured to be dating Jacqueline Fernandez and then Kiara Advani. However, none of the reports were confirmed. Now, it’s being said that Sid is dating Tara Sutaria, who is set to make her debut with ‘Student Of The Year 2’.

Coming back to Sid and Alia, they surely are setting high standards for the term ‘cordial exes’.
