Alia Bhatt spills the beans on how she bagged Heart of Stone co-starring Gal Gadot

Alia Bhatt is one of the most loved actresses of Bollywood. Alia Bhatt is all set to make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone. The actress will be sharing screen space with Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo and Matthias Schweighofer in the same. Now, in a recent interview, Alia talked about how she bagged Heart of Stone alongside Gal and Jamie. The actress said that Heart of Stone’s script was shared by the makers with her team.

Alia said as quoted by Pinkvilla, “You know they would like for you to read the script and if you are interested, we can get you to Zoom meet with the director. Thanks to Zoom, a lot of this has become possible. You don’t have to fly to a meeting. You can do a virtual meeting. I read the script and of course I heard that Gal Gadot was going to be starring in it and was also producing it, which I was extremely excited about because I am such a huge admirer of her work and just the person, the force that she is.”

Alia Bhatt wrapped up shooting for Heart of Stone in July. The actress had shared pictures with Gal Gadot and team on Instagram. Several pictures of her from the sets had also gone viral on social media.

Alia is expecting her first child with Ranbir Kapoor. Earlier, Alia had revealed that the Heart of Stone team treated her ‘beautifully’ and took good care of her when felt homesick during the shoot.

Apart from this, Alia will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. She will be sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in the same. Brahmastra is slated to release in September this year. Alia also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.
