Alia Bhatt to star in ‘Sadak’ sequel?

Mahesh Bhatt directorial 1991 romantic thriller film ‘Sadak’, featuring Mahesh’s daughter Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt in the lead, is soon going to get a sequel, if reports are anything to go by.

The director of the 1991 superhit flick, is now planning to make its sequel, with Alia Bhatt in the lead. Yes, you heard it right. Alia will be a part of the sequel as Pooja (Pooja Bhatt) and Ravi’s (Sanjay Dutt) daughter. The story of the film will revolve around Sanjay going on a rescue mission to protect his daughter. According to reports, Pooja will not be a part of the sequel and will only be seen in flashback.

It was earlier reported that Mahesh Bhatt as planning to remake ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi’ starring Aamir Khan and Pooja Bhatt, but that project did not see the light of the day. And, now, he is planning to make a sequel of his other superhit film ‘Sadak’.
