Alia Bhatt to undergo rigorous Kathak training to match steps with Madhuri Dixit in ‘Kalank’

Well, this is one song that we’re really excited about. Alia Bhatt will feature in a song with Madhuri Dixit in ‘Kalank’, and if reports are to be believed, it will be a classical dance number. Knowing Alia, we are sure that she will give it her best shot in order match steps with an accomplished Kathak dancer like Madhuri.

In an interview with DNA, a source revealed, “An elaborate number featuring the two will be shot soon. The team is working on getting everything in place for the shoot. It’s a classical song, which will reflect the era that the film is set in.”

Alia will need to undergo rigorous training for the number, as she has never featured in a classical dance number before. For this, she trained under Pandit Birju Maharaj (who taught Madhuri as well).
