Alia Bhatt wishes bestie Akansha Ranjan Kapoor on her birthday by sharing a throwback Maldives pic

Alia Bhatt and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor share a deep bond and their pictures on social media are proof of the same. Today, as Akansha celebrates her birthday, Alia shared a cool throwback photo and wished her on her birthday. For the unversed, Alia along with Akansha and other friends had gone to the Maldives for a vacation earlier this year. The actress had returned early from the vacation after her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor’s uncle Rajiv Kapoor died in February.

In the photo, one can see them in swimsuits as they enjoyed the sea. Sharing the photo, she wrote, “happy birthday my universe.”

On the work front, Akansha, who made her Bollywood debut with Netflix film Guilty, will be seen next in Monica, O My Darling that will premiere on Netflix. She recently starred in Netflix’s Ray. She was a part of Spotlight, alongside Harsh Vardhan Kapoor and Radhika Madan. On the other hand, Alia will be seen next in Gangubai Kathiawadi which is being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Besides this, Alia also has Brahmastra and RRR in the pipeline.

She is also shooting for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. Bhatt, who was last seen in Sadak 2, co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt will also star in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. For the unversed, the Highway actress also finished shooting for her next project called Darlings. The movie also marks her debut as a film producer. The film also stars Vijay Varma, Shefali Shah and Roshan Mathew.
