‘Two actresses cannot be friends’ is an old saying in Bollywood, though, it is still relevant. However, breaking the stereotypes, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt have proven that two actresses can be friends and that too best friends for life. The two have given us #friendshipgoals on numerous occasions. From posing like divas to sharing weird selfies, the two have done it all.

Recently, there were reports that their friendship has hit the rock bottom, as Miss Bhatt is now dating Katrina’s once-upon a time boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor. Shutting the rumours like a boss, Alia and Katrina, still admire each other, and their social media gestures for each other are a proof to that.

The recent post by the ‘SOTY’ actress has also put a full stop to the speculations. As Katrina Kaif turns a year oldder today, Alia wished her bestie the happiest birthday with an adorable picture.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Alia wrote, ‘Happiest Birthday @KatrinaKaif’

Meanwhile, speaking of Katrina’s work front, the actress is reuniting with her ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ co-stars Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma for ‘Zero’. The film, directed by Aanand L Ra,i is set to release on December 21. Besides ‘Zero’, Kaif has an untitled dance film with Varun Dhawan and ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ featuring Aamir Khan, ‘Dangal’ fame Fatima Sana Sheikh and Amitabh Bachchan.

On the other hand, Alia is currently busy shooting for ‘Brahmastra’ with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film will hit the silver screen on August 15, 2019.
