‘Padmavati’ is the story of Queen Padmavati who performed jauhar to save her pride. Shahid Kapoor plays the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh, the Rajput warrior and Queen Padmavati’s husband, who fights the vicious Alauddin Khilji who aspires to captivate the Queen. This period-drama is going to be a larger than life film and the trailer has just given us the glimpse of it. (Also Read: 5 scenes in ‘Padmavati’ trailer that literally gave us goosebumps)
