The entire world is going through hardship now due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, artistes from all over the world have taken it upon themselves to keep everyone hopeful and motivated with their dose of entertainment. Alim Morani is a budding talent in the music industry. The young rapper has come up with a thought-provoking rap on coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown in the country.
Sharing the song on his Instagram handle, Alim wrote, “Personally, for me, it has been one of the worst starts to a year I have experienced in my life. But that is irrelevant. The amount of pain, suffering, and tragedy some of the less fortunate are having to go through right now is unimaginable. From daily migrant workers, to daily wage workers, to the people that constitute the very fabric that gives this country it’s identity. While some people can afford to wait out the storm in the comfort of their homes, others are suffering. Others are helpless in providing for their families and are left stranded, helpless, and completely dependent.”
Alim has penned this rap and made the video to urge everyone to contribute in their own way, small or big, to a cause larger than all of us. “Every little bit helps. There are numerous channels through which you can donate. Go with whichever one you are comfortable with. If you don’t know any, please reach out to me and I will provide you with options,” he further wrote.
